Feature 01

Onset-Envelope Peak Picking

We compute a spectral-flux-style onset envelope, auto-tune a dynamic threshold, then pick local maxima with BPM-guided minimum-gap logic. The result is a clean list of beat timestamps aligned to the main pulse of the track.

Both BPM And Beat Positions

The Beat Finder outputs the estimated BPM of the track plus the exact second-accurate position of every beat it locked onto — ready for DJ software, video editors, or rhythm games.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about this tool.

50–220 BPM out of the box — covering everything from ballads and lofi (60–90 BPM) through rock / pop (100–130) up to drum & bass / jungle (170+).

No. All analysis is done locally in your browser via the Web Audio API. No cloud storage, no accounts, no uploads.

Yes. The beat timestamps are metadata derived from your own file — you're free to use them in DJ sets, edits, music videos, games, or any commercial project.
